    EasyMed Aura Achieves Breakthrough in Hydrophilic Coating Technology


    SHENZHEN, China – March 16, 2026 – EasyMed Scientific (Shenzhen) Medical Co., Ltd. today announced a major technological breakthrough with the successful development of its independently patented hydrophilic coating formula and continuous coating process for interventional guidewires.


    The company's R&D team has developed proprietary coating formulations and equipment that enable precise application with thickness control between 0.005-0.01mm, supporting both single-unit and continuous coating processes for products of unlimited length. This technology works effectively on both polyurethane and metal surfaces.


    "We are particularly proud of our independent technology development capabilities," said a company spokesperson. "Our hydrophilic coating formula, continuous grinding process, and production equipment were all developed in-house, allowing us to meet diverse customer requirements with greater flexibility and consistency."


    This technological achievement complements EasyMed Scientific's existing manufacturing capabilities, which include multi-gradient variable-diameter grinding with repeatability accuracy of 2.5μm and spring manufacturing with minimum thread diameter of 0.01mm.


    Sample products featuring the new coating technology have been submitted to international medical device enterprises and have successfully passed all validation tests.


    Founded in March 2025, EasyMed Scientific operates a 4,000-square-meter facility in Shenzhen with an annual production capacity of 4-5 million guidewires. The company is on track to become China's largest OEM manufacturer of guidewires by the end of 2027.
